ESL instruction is given to any student who qualifies in grades K-12. ESL lessons support the regular education curriculum in literacy. ELL’s receive grade level instruction with additional supports. Instruction is provided in English to improve English skills in: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students in the ESL program will take the PA ACCESS for English Language learners yearly to assess their progress. At the end of each school year student progress will be reviewed to see if they will continue services or exit the program.
