English as a Second Language (ESL) Services
Our ESL program supports students whose primary language is not English by helping them develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. Certified ESL instructors provide individualized instruction tailored to each student's needs, fostering academic success and cultural integration. Services include language assessments, small-group or one-on-one instruction, and collaboration with classroom teachers to ensure a supportive learning environment. Students in the ESL program will take the PA ACCESS for English Language learners yearly to assess their progress. At the end of each school year student progress will be reviewed to see if they will continue services or exit the program.
