Kelly Landherr is excited to join Mt. Penn Elementary Center this year following 15 years of service within the School District of Philadelphia. Her career began as a teacher at Greenberg School, where she taught fifth grade for 11 years, before being named the Assistant Principal. Mrs. Landherr grew up in Pottstown, where she attended Owen J. Roberts. She received her undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education. Mrs. Landherr earned her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2009.
Mrs. Landherr views a collaborative school environment as the key to creating successful teachers and students. She believes partnerships with parents and community members are essential to enriching the experience at Mt. Penn Elementary Center.
During her free time, Mrs. Landherr enjoys relaxing at the Delaware beach, watching her favorite Philly sports teams, the Phillies and Eagles, and spending time with husband Todd and twin girls, Kaelyn & Kamryn.
