Welcome to the Primary Center

  • Terrific Tuesday - 5/24/22

We had a fabulous Color day with lots of fun stations. We loved seeing all the parents and grandparents who came as spectators.

We will be having an early dismissal on Thursday, May 25th.

Plan for a 12:00 Pick up.

On Friday, May 26th and Monday, May 30th school will be closed for students.

    From the Library

We have over 100 books that have not been returned to the library.  Every class has overdue books.  The first class to return all their books is going to get a “chip” party next week. Look in your bookshelves, under your beds and in your closets for our books. We need all our books back so we can do our summer inventory and be able to order some new books for next year.

    From the Lunch Room

Please look in your child’s bookbag for a sign up sheet for lunches for next week, Tuesday, May 31st - Friday, June 3rd.  We will be dismissing every day at 11:00 so if you would like to have a packed lunch for your child you must indicate which days you would like lunch and return the form to your child’s teacher by Thursday, May 26th.

    Summer Lunch Options

Finding Meals for Kids When Schools are Closed for the Summer

All Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) “open” sites are reported to USDA and mapped at www.fns.usda.gov\meals4kids.  Please check the map for a school closest to you that is currently operating under these programs. Meal sites are added and removed throughout the summer, so check the webpage often to ensure you have the most up-to-date information. As a reminder, an open site means that meal service is open to any child, 18 years or younger in the community, not just students enrolled in the school.

You may also call 1-866-3-HUNGRY, or 1-877-8HAMBRE or Text "FOOD" or "COMIDA" to 914-342-7744 for more information.
