COVID-19 Dashboard

Welcome to the Antietam School District newly designed COVID-19 Dashboard. In order to better align with our mandated reporting to the PA-Department of Health, and to make the data easier to understand, this dashboard is now updated every Friday at 4 pm, and is a count of how many confirmed positive cases we have had within our school buildings for the previous week. Each case on the dashboard reflects a case that was identified in our school community, in which the identified person was in attendance in one of our buildings during their infectious period. If a case is identified within the school community, and that person has had no contact/exposure to the school community within our buildings during their infectious period, the case is not reported on our dashboard.

There is no longer a 14-day rolling count of cases, as that method of case counting is no longer relevant to school settings based on updated quarantine and isolation guidelines. Instead, we will keep historical data, by reporting period, posted on our website for the community to view.

Cases will no longer “drop-off” the dashboard, as we are not utilizing the 14-day rolling method of case counting. Instead, data will remain on the dashboard.

We hope that this new reporting method is easier to understand, and gives a clearer picture of the COVID-19 climate within our school community.
