CLEARANCE PROCEDURE FOR VOLUNTEERSThere are no fees required for volunteers if you have lived in the state of PA for 10 or more years.Please complete the three steps below to be eligible to volunteer with the Antietam School District.
Disclosure Statement Application
A. Complete the Volunteer Disclosure Statement if you have lived in Pennsylvania continuously for more than 10 years. Volunteer Disclosure Statement Application
B. Complete the FBI Criminal History Record (fingerprinting) if you have not lived in Pennsylvania continuously for more than 10 years. Note, FBI Criminal History certifications obtained through the Department of Human Services will also be accepted by the District.
Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal History Record Check
The quickest way to process this clearance is to log on to https://epatch.pa.gov/ will receive instantaneous results if no record exists. If you do not have access to a computer, you should complete and mail the "PA State Police Request for Criminal Record Check VOLUNTEER ONLY" to the PA State Police at the link below.
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
This form may be processed electronically www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS. You will need to create an account for yourself, and you will be asked to give yourself a username/password and answers to three security questions before you are able to fill in the form. If you choose, you may still complete and mail the PA Child Abuse History Clearance to ChlldLine and Abuse Registry, Department of Public Welfare. Be sure to check "Volunteer" on the right side of the form.
