Mrs. Nicole Schieck
Principal, Mount Penn Primary Center
Hello families and welcome to the Primary Center! My name is Niki Schieck and I’m so excited to be your new principal. I am honored and humbled to be a part of the Antietam Family. I believe in parent involvement and a community commitment to education. As a team, we will cultivate the success of all students here at Mount Penn Primary Center. Please know that I am dedicated to all of you. My goal is to ensure that every child is safe and given every opportunity to learn to the best of their ability.
Over the past 14 years, I have worked as a math specialist and classroom teacher in Berks and Montgomery Counties and in the state of Virginia. My experiences have molded me into the person that I am today. My time in the classroom has given me a love for children and an appreciation for the hard work that goes into helping each child grow.
I attended Eastern Mennonite University for both my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I then completed the Educational Administration program at Cabrini University. I’m proud to be a lifelong learner and I’m always looking to grow professionally.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family. My husband and I have two children. Millie is 10 and Eli is 4. We also have two rescue dogs, Franklin and Harper. I love watching my children on the soccer and softball fields and on the dance stage. I know how fast-paced life can be, however, I look forward to getting to know you and your family. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
