This quarterly class introduces students to the basics of journalism and the media. Students selected their own topics and chose whether they wanted to work with a partner or alone. Over the nine weeks, they brainstormed topics, worked on pitches, outlined their articles, and made several drafts. The publication includes features, editorials, celebrity gossip, and sports coverage. The class suggested ideas for the title of the publication and voted; Antietam News is what they picked.
