MRS. APRIL OLSON
  • Hello Antietam Families! I am very excited to continue my career here at Antietam while venturing my way from being a classroom teacher to an administrator.  I love our little community and the students and families that reside here.  I am looking forward to reconnecting with some of these families that I have known since they started Kindergarten!

I was born and raised in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.  I studied Elementary Education and Early Childhood at Kutztown University.  I then attended West Chester University for my Master’s degree in Special Education.  Most recently, I attended Alvernia University and completed their Educational Leadership program and earned my principal certification.  While at Antietam, I taught kindergarten, second grade, and worked as the Dean of Students. I am looking forward to my newest role as the Assistant Principal at Stony Creek Elementary School.

During my free time I enjoy being with my family.  My husband and I have three children.  We have twin boys, Ayden and Oliver, who are 7, and a daughter, Emily, who is 1.  We also have a 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog. I love Philly sports teams and enjoy going to my boys sporting events. When I have spare time, I like to be in my garden, vacationing in Stone Harbor or visiting the mountains for a relaxing lake/stream view.
