Food Service, Cynthia Jaromnak

Food Service, Cynthia Jaromnak

I am responsible for the meal/menu planning and the day-to-day operations for all the cafeterias in the District.Between the three schools, I have 14 very knowledgeable, permanent, part-time and three substitute cafeteria staff members, all of whom look forward to serving your children a nutritional breakfast and/or lunch each day.

We currently use the Lunchbox Point of Sale system to track student account balances and record the meals being purchased.  To access their account, students at each school scan their ID card when going through the meal line. The student pays for the meal with cash or with money that was deposited into his/her account.
If a student does not have cash or an available balance in his/her account, we will allowthe student to borrow up to a total of three meals, which is $7.65 at the middle/senior high school and $6.90 at the elementary and primary centers. If these unpaid thresholds have been reached and a payment arrangement has not been made, a restriction will be placed on the student’s account. This restriction will limit the student to an alternate meal until the balance is paid. Please stress to your child that each student has his/her own Lunchbox account and he/she should only be purchasing their own meals from their account. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at 610-779-0377.
