Nurse's Office

	Nurse, Ms. Melissa Sallade
	Mandatory Physicals and Examinations Students entering 7th grade are required to have previously had three hepatitis shots and chicken pocks. They can either show proof of having the disease or the vaccine. In 7th grade, students must have dental, scoliosis, and hearing examinations. Physicals are required in 11th grade. Once a year, student’s height, weight, and vision are checked. National Percentile Physical Growth Charts are now given to students after exams.
	Note: Not all students in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th have had the hepatitis shots. They may be required to have them sometime in the future. Medication In School Students are not permitted to carry medication. Inhalers, that have been documented with the health room, may be carried by the students. Other then this, all medication must be kept in the health room. Sport Physicals Physicals for sports are given three times a year. They are based on the sport seasons; February (spring sports), June (fall sports), and November (winter sports).
